Why are the Sleep Odyssey mattresses so much cheaper than in retail stores?
Unlike other mattress companies, we don't waste a huge sales budget on showrooms, salespeople and huge stores of our mattresses. We deliver our mattresses straight from the factory to your door. Meaning the savings we make from not needing a showroom or salespeople can be passed directly onto you.
Why should I buy a Sleep Odyssey Mattress when I cant try it?
We fully understand our customers may want to try a mattress before they buy it, and we also understand that buying online doesn’t allow for the same levels of testing as buying from a showroom does. However, we work extremely hard to ensure all of our products are of the highest quality and comfort, which is why we are confident that our customers will be satisfied with their mattresses from us. That doesn’t mean to say that we don’t understand that sometimes our customers might not feel the mattress they have purchased is quite right for them, which is why we offer a 30-day risk free home trial. This gives our customers plenty of time to assess whether their new mattress is right for them, and, if they aren’t 100% satisfied, they simply need to contact us and we will arrange collection and a refund. You can buy in confidence when you buy from Sleep Odyssey.
Can I return a mattress?
If you aren’t happy with your mattress we will take it back without disruption within 30 days.
How often to rotate my mattress?
We know that rotating a mattress is a job that no one really likes to do, however, this really can help you get the longest life and utmost comfort from your mattress. We recommend you rotate a new mattress every 4 weeks for the first 3 months of use, after that, once every 4-6 month is enough. There is no need to turn our mattresses over as they are designed to be used one-way only.
When should I replace my mattress?
Though it is generally advised a mattress is changed every 7 years, a person will know when their mattress needs to be changed by how they feel when they wake up on a morning. A good quality mattress should provide 7 years of use; however, the older people get the more their bodies change, and with age comes a stronger need for comfort and support. So, if you are feeling a little achy or stiff on a morning, maybe it is time you thought about changing your mattress.
Can you take away my old mattress?
Of course. Opt for our premium delivery service and we can take your old mattress away at the same time as we deliver your new one. This means you are not left with the stress of disposing of this yourself. Our premium delivery service costs £40 and sees new mattresses delivered within 2-7 days, with old ones taken away at the same time.
What bed base can I use with a Sleep Odyssey mattress?
Our mattresses work great with all bed bases, including divan, sprung slats, rigid slats and electric adjustable beds. So there really is no need for a full furniture change just to change your mattress when you shop with us.
We recommend using our mattresses with a rigid base rather than a sprung base, this is because a sprung base naturally causes mattresses to feel softer. With the rigid base, you are allowing your mattress to provide the support core for your body, but of course, this is down to each person’s own personal preferences.
Clean your mattress regularly with a vacuum cleaner (using the upholstery attachment). Pay particular attention to the piping, where dust can settle most easily.
Any spillages should be absorbed using a dry cloth or paper towels. If you need to sponge the mattress, use a damp cloth and a very mild solution of soap and water.
